Job summary

Schnucks in Clayton, MO seeks a Deli Clerk to deliver friendly service, slice lunch meats, assemble sandwiches, and keep the deli area clean and well stocked. The role requires availability 10am–9pm Mon–Sun and 25+ hours per week.

You will work with teammates to provide high-quality products, follow safety guidelines, and handle knives and slicers safely. A flexible schedule including nights and weekends is expected; 18+ and basic math skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays and weekends.
• Able to demonstrate basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers, in person and on the phone.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, deli cases, and backroom, following safety guidelines.
• Operate meat and cheese slicers and wrapping equipment as required.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, and party trays while following recipes.
• Assist with restocking and product rotation to ensure freshness.
