Job summary

Three Bears Alaska, Inc. is seeking a Deli Clerk to prepare and display ready-to-eat products and deliver exemplary customer service in our store in Alaska. You will rotate stock, maintain sanitation, and assist customers with special orders and requests.

The role involves operating equipment like ovens and slicers, standing for long periods, and handling weights up to 50–75 pounds. Availability for part-time or full-time shifts, including evenings and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Food preparation experience preferred.
• Food Handling Certification as required by local government.

Responsibilities

• Reworks display case to assess daily production needs and rotates product.
• Stores and rotates stock.
• Brings cases of product from cooler to prepare for display.
• Cleans and sanitizes area throughout the day.
• Performs duties to comply with health code, such as sanitation standards and expiration dates.
• Packages, wraps, weighs, and labels product for sales.
• Operates oven, dishwasher, scale, and slicing machines.
• Follows safety and security procedures.
• Prepares hot food.
• Proofs, rolls, shapes, adds toppings or fillings and bakes items.
• Provides prompt and courteous customer service, including special orders and customer requests.
• Cleans and sanitizes machines, work surfaces, floors, pans, utensils, and counters.
