Job summary

Three Bears Alaska in Cooper Landing seeks a Deli Clerk to prepare and display ready-to-eat products, assist customers, and uphold health and safety standards. You will rotate stock, rework display cases, and operate essential kitchen equipment.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED with Food Handling certification preferred, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Shifts include evenings and weekends in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food handling certification as required by local government.
• Food preparation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reworks display case to assess daily production needs and rotates product.
• Stores and rotates stock.
• Brings cases of product from cooler to prepare for display.
• Cleans and sanitizes area throughout the day.
• Prepares hot food and bakes items such as chicken and hot dogs.
• Provides prompt customer service, including special orders and customer requests.
• Operates oven, dishwasher, scale, slicer, and related equipment.
• Follows safety and security procedures.
