Spangler’s Market in Half Moon Bay, CA is hiring for Deli Clerk roles. We’re offering 2 part-time positions or 1 full-time and 1 part-time in our Deli Department.

Shifts may range from early morning to closing, with a focus on friendly, customer-focused service in a fast-paced grocery environment. The ideal candidate has strong communication and customer service skills, enjoys multitasking, and takes pride in a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Strong front-facing customer service and effective communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team.
• Experience in food service or food preparation is a plus (training provided).
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices a plus (training).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve deli items and assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Keep the deli department clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Process customer orders accurately and assist with recommendations.
• Operate deli equipment and maintain sanitation standards.
• Support opening/closing procedures and restock as needed.
