Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in the United States is seeking a friendly deli team member to slice, package, weigh and display meats and cheeses while delivering exceptional service to Members.

You will assist in daily deli operations, handle special orders, maintain product freshness and signage, operate slicers safely, and keep the department clean and organized. This role offers weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in deli department preferred.
• Experience operating slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service to Members.
• Slice, package, weigh deli products and assist in purchasing decisions.
• Receive, display, stock, rotate deli products.
• Ensure freshness and quality; check for out-of-date items daily.
• Maintain deli equipment safely and keep area clean.
• Ensure accurate pricing and labeling.
• Attend to other duties as assigned.
• Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
