Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a deli team member to handle and possess knowledge of all deli products, restock shelves, and maintain attractive displays. You will provide quality customer service, assist with product preparation, and ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met across the deli area.

Employees must be authorized to work in the U.S., meet physical requirements, and follow company policies.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to customers, co-workers, vendors, and business associates
• Receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, and package products
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions including stocking and cleaning
• Maintain cooler conditions and proper prep area cleanliness and sanitation
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations in the deli area
• Keep the sales floor clean and safe, with proper PPE where required
• Dress according to policy and complete required training modules
• Follow all safety and operational procedures as listed in manuals
