Job summary

Ideal candidates have strong customer service, math skills for portioning and transactions, and availability for early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Training on safety and equipment is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate slicers and food preparation equipment following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math skills for weighing, portioning, and transactions.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior food service or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deli items and grab‑and‑go options, helping customers choose from meats, cheeses, and prepared foods.
• Slicing meats, assembling and portioning products, and keeping displays stocked.
• Monitor product freshness and maintain clean, organized displays and work areas.
• Take orders in person or by phone and assist customers with service speed.
• Operate register systems and handle transactions; follow safety and sanitation procedures.
