Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations to complete job duties satisfactorily.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service as an essential component of every position within GIANT/MARTIN'S stores.
• Receive, process, prepare, wraps, slices, weighs, marks, and packages products.
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, including stocking, cleaning, straightening, and rotating product weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain proper cooler conditions, coding, rotating and organizing cases of product.
• Maintain proper prep area conditions, cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces, utensils and equipment.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations as they apply to the deli area.
• Maintain safe and clean sales floor conditions, including sweeping and mopping.
• Provide friendly and courteous customer service and promote products through suggestive selling.
• Dress according to company policy and maintain a neat appearance.
• Complete ELM training courses as added to the learning page.
