The Fresh Market is seeking a Deli Specialist to deliver deli department excellence, ensuring product freshness, merchandising accuracy, and food safety compliance. You will support inventory accuracy, rotation standards, and presentation, while engaging guests and preparing the department for promotions and seasonal events.

Responsibilities include coordinating with leadership on ordering, executing planograms, and maintaining signage.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deli products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach when on the sales floor.
