Redner's Markets in Whitehall, PA is seeking a friendly Deli Clerk to serve customers and prepare orders in a courteous manner. You will slice, weigh, price, and stock deli items while maintaining product freshness and proper rotation.

Responsibilities include stocking, labeling, promoting weekly specials, and ensuring adherence to store policies and health standards. This is a non-exempt, on-site role in a fast-moving deli department.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills for dealing with customers.
• Must have basic math skills for weighing and pricing products.
• Must have dexterity to slice and prepare deli products.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds up to 20% of the time.

Responsabilités

• Slice, cut, weigh, and price merchandise.
• Prepare orders to customers’ satisfaction.
• Unload deli stock and move it to storage areas.
• Maintain shelves and keep cases filled.
• Rotate and code products to control freshness; remove out-of-code items daily.
• Price products legibly per price book.
• Maintain new items and weekly specials.
• Promote new items and weekly specials.
• Notify manager of temperature failures in cases/storage.
• Follow department policies and procedures.
