Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring in the deli department to slice, package, and sell a variety of meats and cheeses while ensuring safety and freshness. You will assist Members with selections, prepare special orders, and maintain deli displays in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to club standards, and delivering quality service. Eligibility includes at least 18 years of age and prior deli experience.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a deli department preferred.
• Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides high level customer service to Members in the deli.
• Slices, packages, weighs deli products, and prepares special orders.
• Receives, inspects, rotates and stocks deli products per policy.
• Maintains deli display cases and sanitizes equipment and surfaces.
• Ensures product freshness and accurate pricing, and follows safety procedures.
