Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Deli team member to slice, package, weigh, and sell a range of deli products, including meats and cheeses. You will maintain deli presentation and cleanliness, assist Members with purchases, and support club policies and safety standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, speed, accuracy, and a commitment to delivering excellent service while upholding Gold Club standards and food safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in a deli or customer-facing role is preferred.
• Ability to operate slicers and scales safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of deli products and proper food handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level customer service to Members and assist with deli selections.
• Slice, package, weigh, and label deli products accurately.
• Prepare special orders and party trays as requested by Members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of deli display cases and workspace.
• Monitor stock levels and rotate products to ensure freshness.
• Follow food safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
