Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in New York’s West Nyack area is hiring a deli team member to slice, package, weigh, and help Members select deli items. You’ll keep display cases fresh and meet food-safety standards while delivering friendly, fast service.

This role involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 30 pounds, and working as part of a team that upholds GOLD standards. Prior deli experience is preferred; must be 18+. Weekly pay and access to BJ’s benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Deli department experience preferred.
• Experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provides high level customer service to Members, answers questions and takes special orders.
• Slices, packages, weighs deli products, helps Members select correct products and samples items.
• Receives, inspects, and stocks deli shipments; maintains display cases and adheres to food safety policies.
• Ensures products are fresh; checks dates and rotates stock as needed.
• Operates deli equipment safely and keeps areas clean and organized.
