Balls Foods is hiring a Deli Clerk for Hen House to prepare and serve fresh deli products while delivering a welcoming, efficient service experience. You will help guests find what they need, support department sales, and build customer loyalty in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Preferred experience in grocery, retail, or food service environments.

Responsabilités

• Provide friendly, helpful guest service to ensure a positive shopping experience and encourage repeat visits.
• Prepare, slice, and package deli meats and cheeses to order following food safety procedures.
• Prepare, cook, and stock deli items such as rotisserie chicken, salads, hot bar items, and grab-and-go meals.
• Maintain product freshness, labeling, and visual merchandising in deli cases and displays.
• Engage with guests to answer questions, provide recommendations, and offer meal solutions.
• Develop knowledge of deli and store products, including features, pricing, and location.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment per health and safety guidelines.
• Operate deli equipment and POS systems accurately.
• Stock, rotate, and face products using FIFO to ensure freshness.
