Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Deli Team Member in the United States (New Jersey, Toms River area) to slice, package, weigh, and sell deli products while maintaining display cases and a clean, welcoming environment for Members.

The role emphasizes customer service, adherence to food safety standards, and teamwork in a fast-paced deli department. Regular attendance and basic deli skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in a deli department preferred.
• Experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service to Members and address questions.
• Slice, package, weigh deli products, and assist Members with selections.
• Receive and inspect deli shipments and maintain stock and display quality.
• Ensure freshness and proper stocking of deli items.
• Operate deli equipment safely and maintain cleanliness in the area.
• Sanitize equipment and food surfaces; maintain product handling policies.
• Maintain accurate pricing and weigh scales for products.
