Job summary

AC&T Co. Inc. is hiring for a Deli position in our Kitchen department. You will serve customers promptly and courteously, preparing sandwiches, salads, and other cold items while assisting with samples and recommendations.

You will handle slicers, scales, and cash registers, follow all food safety procedures, and support team members to ensure a positive shopping and dining experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Deli counter or food preparation experience may be required.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and operate slicers, scales, and cash registers.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive, exceptional service to deli counter customers.
• Recommend, slice, weigh, package, and price meats and cheeses.
• Prepare sandwiches, subs, salads, and other cold items.
• Handle special orders and party trays.
• Maintain clean work areas and sanitation procedures.
• Cooperate with others to ensure customer satisfaction.
