Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a Deli Shift Leader to supervise the hot deli area, delivering excellent guest service and supporting the Deli Manager in operations. You will help ensure food remains fresh and the area is clean and well-stocked.

The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of food safety standards and prior experience in food service, with flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar position, especially with a restaurant or foodservice background.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to maintain a customer-focused culture.
• Ability to maintain equipment according to food safety standards.
• Ability to work as part of a team with varied levels (hourly staff, customers, vendors, leadership).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deli Shift Leaders supervise team members in the hot deli area and ensure guest service is excellent.
• Assist the Deli Manager by keeping the hot deli area clean, stocked, and food fresh.
• Maintain standards for food safety and work with the team to meet safety practices.
