Job summary

Pilot Company in Florida is seeking a Deli Shift Leader to supervise team members in the hot deli area and assist the Deli Manager in keeping the area clean, stocked, and food fresh.

The ideal candidate has basic knowledge of food safety standards and experience in the food service industry, with a strong emphasis on guest service. Flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar position, especially with a restaurant or foodservice background.
• Incredible customer service skills and the ability to help maintain a customer focused culture.
• Ability to maintain equipment according to food safety standards.
• Ability to work as part of a team and interact with different levels from hourly team members, customers, vendors, and corporate representatives.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members in the hot deli area.
• Assist the Deli Manager by ensuring that food in the hot deli is fresh and the area is kept clean and well stocked.
• Provide excellent guest service and maintain a customer-focused culture.
• Uphold food safety standards and ensure equipment is maintained.
