Job summary

Pilot Flying J is seeking a Deli Shift Leader to supervise the hot deli team and ensure top-notch guest service. You will support the Deli Manager in keeping food fresh, the area clean, and well stocked while upholding food safety standards.

The role requires experience in foodservice, strong customer focus, teamwork, and a willingness to work nights, days, weekends and holidays. Competitive hourly pay with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar position, especially with a restaurant or foodservice background.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to maintain a customer-focused culture.
• Ability to maintain equipment according to food safety standards.
• Ability to work as part of a team and interact with different levels from hourly team members, customers, vendors, and corporate representatives.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members in the hot deli area while delivering excellent guest service.
• Assist the Deli Manager to ensure food in the hot deli is fresh and area is clean and stocked.
• Maintain knowledge of food safety standards and compliance.
