Job summary

The Deli Representative role involves providing friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced deli environment. You will handle customer interactions, food preparation, and safety procedures while maintaining cleanliness and teamwork on a daily basis.

Key duties include serving hot and cold items, slicing meats, operating slicers and fryers, and upholding SERV Safe standards, with flexibility for shift times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic knife/food prep skills.
• Basic reading/writing in English.
• Food handler certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders, and recommend deli items.
• Maintain clean, inviting deli environment and deliver outstanding service.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold foods to order.
• Slice meats and cheeses to customer specifications.
• Prepare hot foods such as fried items and rotisserie chicken.
• Take temperatures and follow SERV Safe guidelines.
• Operate deli equipment safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth deli operations.
