Job summary

Weis Markets is hiring for a Deli Associate at our Montana store. You will greet customers, assist with deli items, and ensure fresh, correctly priced products. You’ll prepare foods, slices, platters, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.

No prior experience is required; we welcome motivated individuals who value teamwork and customer service. Training is provided to support safe knife use and proper food handling.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Keeps Deli service areas well stocked and appealing and greets customers politely.
• Sells and serves deli items, answers questions, and resolves customer concerns.
• Ensures freshness and proper prices, rotates product, and handles near-expiry items.
• Operates slicing equipment to prepare meats and cheeses per customer requests.
• Prepares ready-to-eat foods and platters, following safety policies and recipes.
• May handle cash register operations and follow money-handling procedures.
• Adheres to tobacco and alcohol sale laws as applicable and maintains sanitation.
• Assists with inventory, cleanliness, logs, and general department maintenance.
