Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Lakeland, FL seeks associates for packaging bakery products and operating on the production line. Positions include Packer, Line Worker and Sanitor; final assignment depends on skill set. You’ll rotate shifts, work nights and weekends, and perform multiple duties to keep the bakery running smoothly.

Responsibilities include accurate paperwork, GMP-compliant cleaning, and operating a forklift if qualified. Benefits and ongoing training support Publix associates.

Qualifications

• Must be physically able to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to obtain and operate a forklift license and forklift equipment.
• Must work any shift including nights, weekends, holidays and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Package bakery products for Publix stores.
• Move, dump, and scrape bowls and hoppers; ensure pans ready for product.
• Apply icing and toppings and place product on the production line.
• Clean equipment per GMPs with industrial cleaners.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Other duties as assigned.
