Job summary

Community Food Co-op in Washington is seeking a Production Team Member to ensure all foods meet our standards for taste, freshness, safety, and presentation. You will assist with receiving deliveries, stocking, and maintaining visually appealing displays while contributing to a positive kitchen culture and delivering excellent internal and external service.

Qualifications

• Excellent, friendly face-to-face customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn about specialty and prepared foods and natural/organic grocery industry.
• Ability to stay calm, think quickly, prioritize, and solve problems within guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare soups, salads, entrees, and deli items for service and Grab & Go cases.
• Cook and prep food following safety guidelines and department procedures.
• Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized workspaces throughout production.
• Assist with kitchen prep, cleanup, and general production support as needed.
• Receive deliveries, stock and rotate products, and maintain back-stock areas.
