Job summary

Heinen’s Store Shaker Heights is seeking a Deli/prepared foods/salad bar Associate for a part-time role in Shaker Heights, OH. The position supports daily deli operations, quality food handling, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will prioritize tasks, maintain temperature standards, and assist with orders, stocking, and merchandising while working a non-traditional schedule including weekends and evenings. Compensation ranges from $15 to $21 per hour.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Complies with all company policies and standards.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to stand for long periods while performing repetitive tasks.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work non-traditional five-day schedule including weekends and evenings.
• Occasionally exposed to extreme conditions (hot or cold).

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes daily work based on varying business needs.
• Acquires and shares knowledge of Deli Department.
• Coordinates product orders using effective pars and planning.
• Collaborates with team members to complete daily tasks, including scanning and recording shrink, order writing, stocking, rotating, and merchandising.
• Monitors and maintains all food handling and temperature standards.
• Attends required corporate meetings and training classes.
• Complies with all personal and food safety company standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
