Job summary

Southern Foodservice Management, Inc. is seeking a Deli/Prep Worker for the Syneos Health location in Morrisville, NC. This role focuses on assembling deli items, operating slicers and grills, and maintaining a clean, compliant deli area while delivering friendly guest service.

You will follow sanitation guidelines, prepare items per recipes, and assist with general kitchen duties as needed, including early or late shifts as required to support meal periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a deli, cafeteria or food service setting preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work assigned shifts, including occasional early mornings or late afternoons.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble deli items, including sandwiches, wraps, and salads according to company recipes and customer preferences.

• Replenishing food items as required during service, breakdown service areas after the meal period and assist with general kitchen duties as needed, including cleaning and dishwashing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assemble deli items, including sandwiches, wraps, and salads according to company recipes and customer preferences.
• Operate deli equipment such as slicers, grills, and ovens safely and efficiently.

Other Duties and Tasks

• All staff members are also responsible for other duties or tasks that are assigned by the Assistant Managers or Supervisors, as a part of any “Job” or “Position” assigned during a normal work schedule. Team members may be assigned to support the meal production, service and cleaning after the meal or the dining facility.
