Job summary

RoShay Services seeks a detail-oriented deli associate to support daily operations in a retail setting in Indianapolis. You will prepare and stock deli products, package items, and ensure accurate labeling and display according to plan. The position requires basic math, ability to lift and stand for extended periods, and solid communication with colleagues. Prior retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Reads, writes, and follows posted instructions and safety guidelines.
• Performs basic arithmetic for recipes and inventory.
• Maintains accuracy in weighing, measuring, and labeling items.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce deli items according to plan.
• Package and label items per program specs.
• Merchandise deli products per flight plans and merchandising expectations.
• Stock backroom with rotated and dated deli cases.
• Collaborate with other departments and stores to promote growth.
• Notify management when supplies need reordering.
• Perform basic math for recipes and inventory.
• Communicate tasks, recipes, weights, measures, and cleaning steps to team.
• Adhere to PPE, safety, food safety, cleaning, and guest service guidelines.
• Assist in other departments as needed based on customer needs.
