Job summary

Eurest USA is looking for a Full-time Prep Cook at Bio Merieux located in Hazelwood, Missouri. In this role, you will obtain daily production schedules, prepare food according to established recipes, and ensure quality through taste testing. You will work Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 2:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a busy made‑to‑order deli station.

Responsibilities

• Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
• Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets.
• Taste completed meals to ensure quality.
• Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Store, label and date all food items according to policy; follow HACCP guidelines.
• Complete all required documentation, reports, logs as required.
• Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation time.
• Serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Complete orders from steam tables and grill and serve customers at multiple stations.
• Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Resolve customer concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
