Responsibilities

• Oversee daily deli Department operations with focus on service, quality, and readiness.
• Create a fast, friendly, customer-first environment and address questions or requests.
• Execute merchandising plans, planograms, promotional sets, and seasonal programs.
• Oversee deli preparation, slicing, cooking, packaging, and merchandising per recipes and standards.
• Maintain attractive service cases, grab-and-go, and hot bar displays.
• Manage ordering, inventory, shrink, production logs, and waste reporting.
• Build and manage staff schedules aligned with sales and labor targets.
• Hire, train, and develop deli associates; promote teamwork and accountability.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, temperature controls, and regulatory compliance.
