Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Deli Manager to lead team members, oversee department inventory, pricing integrity, and training. This fast-paced role demands precision, efficiency, and a passion for excellence in guest service to drive results.

You will direct, coach, and train staff, ensure proper receiving and stocking, and manage CMS preparation and presentation to maintain quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality, or 5 years in related management.
• Ability to read planograms, layouts and schematics of the department for merchandising.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and proactively assist them with accurate and timely information.
• Make recommendations and accommodate requests.
• Manage order guides, ordering deadlines, and shrink/damage.
• Properly receive/stock goods following rotation standards.
• Direct teams to handle, slice and prepare meat, cheeses, and CMS.
• Coach and train team members on-the-job and via training platform.
