Job summary

Refuel Operating Company, LLC seeks a Deli Manager to lead the deli team, uphold food safety standards, and manage inventory and costs. You will foster teamwork, ensure top-notch service, and drive financial performance in a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays, with full-time hours and non-exempt hourly status. Prior retail or food service experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, food service, or customer service.
• On-the-job training provided for all new team members.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to stand and lift required amounts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team delivering friendly, efficient service.
• Oversee deli operations, ensuring food safety & sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and waste to meet financial goals.
• Analyze sales and financial data to improve profitability.
• Ensure food quality, freshness, and proper presentation.
• Recruit, train, and coach staff to meet performance standards.
• Schedule staff coverage for operational efficiency.
• Maintain vendor relationships and verify order accuracy.
