Job summary

Dietz & Watson is seeking a Full-Time Merchandiser to support sales and brand awareness across our deli products. The position requires operating a deli slicer, setting up deli cases, rotating product, and executing planograms while maintaining engaging in-store displays.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of customer service or sales experience (deli experience a plus), a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, Real ID or passport for travel, and the ability to travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalence.
• 1–2 years of customer service/sales experience preferred; deli experience is a plus.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Must have valid Real ID or Passport for travel.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must have computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must possess communication, organization, creativity, and customization skills.
• Must be able to exercise independent decision-making skills.
• Must be available to work weekends on occasion.
• Clear Driving Record (MVR 2 year).
• Must be able to pass the ServSafe Manager exam.
• Flexibility and ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sales and create brand awareness.
• Set up deli cases and rotate deli product.
• Understand and execute schematics/planograms.
• Maintain marketing displays using POS.
• Operate a deli slicer safely.
• Complete reports and store surveys.
• Provide coverage to stores within territory.
• Visit stores and address concerns promptly.
• Build and maintain customer relationships.
• Create and market Dietz & Watson programs.
• Train new deli hires on company practices.
• Communicate information to Merchandiser Manager.
• Use monthly sales reports to achieve distribution.
