Job summary

Dietz & Watson is seeking a Full-Time Merchandiser to support safety and customer service standards. The role focuses on sales support, brand awareness, and knowledge of deli products.

The position requires operating a deli slicer, executing planograms, and maintaining in-store displays. Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of customer service or sales experience, a high school diploma, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalence.
• 1-2 years of customer service/sales experience preferred.
• Must possess communication, organization, creativity, and customization skills.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a deli slicer.
• Set up deli cases and rotate deli product.
• Understand and execute schematics/planograms.
• Maintain marketing displays using Dietz & Watson POS.
• Build and maintain customer relationships with deli managers and staff.
• Travel within assigned territory up to 30%.
• Communicate with Merchandiser Manager about openings, closings, and updates.
• Complete reports and store surveys as needed.
