Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the deli department, including hot foods, prepared items, displays, and merchandising.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and develop deli associates—building a positive, accountable team culture.
• Manage inventory, ordering, pricing, and shrink to meet or exceed profit goals.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, labeling, temperature control, and regulatory compliance at all times.
• Oversee product rotation, receiving, storage, and display standards.
• Prepare and oversee preparation of hot and cold deli items using fryers, ovens, slicers, and other equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and promptly address maintenance or safety issues.
• Conduct monthly inventories and support accurate reporting.
• Stay aware of market trends and competitor offerings to drive continuous improvement

We are currently looking for a Deli Manager to join our Woodstock, VT. store, with an understanding of deli procedures merchandising, cleanliness, and safety. This is a high demand position in charge of Deli department and a required understanding of Deli and merchandising.
