Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a friendly deli host to provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment. You will greet guests, assist with product preparation, and help maintain sanitation and product quality across deli areas.

The role involves explaining products, assisting with specials, and supporting management with schedules and front-end duties to minimize guest wait times.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year prior food service preparation experience is a must.
• Prior supervisory experience is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests politely and interact with customers in a friendly manner.
• Prepare products for sale (frying, cutting, slicing, weighing, pricing and cooking).
• Explain products and ingredients in the deli area as needed.
• Announce specials and sale information on the PA system.
• Maintain sanitation and quality across cooler, prep, and sales areas.
