Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a deli team member to deliver excellent guest service in the deli department. You will greet guests, prepare and price deli products, and ensure freshness and sanitation across coolers and prep areas.

Your role includes communicating guest needs to management, handling temperature checks, and helping with product receiving and stocking. Must be able to lift 25 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests politely and engage with them.
• Prepare deli products for sale (frying, cutting, slicing, weighing, pricing).
• Maintain product levels, quality and freshness.
• Uphold sanitation in cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
• Report temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keep supply area neat and organized.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Assist with front porch duties to ensure guest arrival standards.
• Announce specials and sale information over the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
