Job summary

W. Lee Flowers is seeking a dedicated deli guest service associate to help deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards in product quality and sanitation.

You will greet guests, assist with product selection, and assist in daily deli operations on site. Responsibilities include explaining menu items, offering samples, preparing products for sale, and supporting scheduling and front-end duties to ensure a smooth, fast service with minimal wait times.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year prior food service preparation experience is a must.
• Prior supervisory experience is a plus.
• Friendly, outgoing personality and ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Good reading and understanding of information and direction.
• Effective communication, customer service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with guests.
• Perform duties in a fast-paced environment while interacting with guests and team members.
• Explain products available in the area (ingredients, flavors, menu items).
• Provide samples to guests and explain offerings as needed.
• Prepare products for sale (frying, cutting, slicing, weighing, pricing, cooking).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness according to station guidelines.
• Maintain sanitation standards in all work areas.
• Communicate guest requests to management and satisfy requests promptly.
