FOOD GIANT SUPERMARKETS INC is seeking a deli team member responsible for the profitability of the deli operation in coordination with the Store Manager. The role combines hands-on food preparation and customer service to ensure high quality, properly stocked, and well-presented products.

You will train new employees, help plan schedules, manage daily labor and costs, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen while delivering friendly, courteous service to customers.

Qualifications

• Plans and prepares food for customers.
• Makes out orders and checks that received items match the order.
• Maintains a clean, safe kitchen and prevents hazards.
• Educates deli clerks on food preparation tips.
• Shops for steam table and case items.
• Keeps inventory of kitchen items and organizes storage.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for deli profitability in line with policy and with the Store Manager.
• Performs duties that combine food preparation and food service.
• Trains new employees and provides friendly, prompt customer service.
• Manages scheduling, paperwork, and daily labor, gross profit, and supply costs.
• Ensures product quality, presents food appealingly, and maintains department cleanliness.
