Job summary

Three Bears Alaska is seeking a Deli PIC to prepare and display ready-to-eat items, rotate stock, and schedule deli team members. You will ensure health code compliance, assist with front-end duties, and provide friendly service for special orders.

In-person work with heavy lifting and diverse kitchen tasks is required. The role emphasizes product rotation, daily planning, and teamwork within a store setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Food preparation experience preferred.
• Food handling certification required by local government.

Responsibilities

• Reworks display case to assess daily production needs and rotates product.
• Determines merchandising plan, product selection, and order quantities to optimize sales.
• Determines product quality for mark downs and culling to minimize shrink.
• Stores and rotates stock.
• Prepares hot food and handles food safety and sanitation.
• Provides prompt and courteous customer service, including special orders.
• Operates ovens, slicers, scales and other deli equipment.
• Assists in other departments as necessary.
