Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores is hiring for general customer service roles in our busy deli and store environment. You will greet customers, answer questions about menu offerings, and assist the deli, coffee, and fountain bar areas throughout shifts.

Ideal candidates will prepare deli items per guided recipes and follow safety procedures while staying flexible for cross-training and varying temperatures. Tuition assistance and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings.
• Assist store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides.
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions about menu offerings and assist customers.
• Prepare deli items and maintain fresh offerings for salads, sandwiches and parfaits.
• Enforce food safety practices and company policies during all tasks.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed and assist beyond primary duties.
• Support team during shifts and help keep work areas safe and clean.
