Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to deliver friendly, high-quality service in a busy deli. You’ll keep the area clean and stocked, interact with customers, and help prepare a range of deli items.

No prior experience is required—we’ll teach you. You’ll also assist in keeping the deli, coffee, and fountain bars tidy, and may cross-train in other store roles. You must be able to lift 25+ pounds and work in different temperatures.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and ability to work with diverse customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced deli environment with attention to cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars.
• Accurately prepare deli products such as salads, fresh-cut fruit, sandwiches, wraps and parfait cups.
• Follow food safety procedures and company policies to maintain proper standards.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
