Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to deliver top-notch customer service while keeping the deli area clean and well stocked. Training is provided, so previous experience isn’t required, and you’ll learn on the job.

You will prepare deli items, assist with various food stations, and support the cashier team as needed. The role involves lifting, working in different temperatures, and a path for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Customer service focus and ability to brighten customers' day.
• Basic food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed, including salads, fresh-cut fruit, sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.
