Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to join our delis and help provide top‑notch customer service while keeping the deli area clean and stocked. We teach you as you go, so no prior experience is required.

You will prepare deli items like salads, sandwiches, parfaits, and more, while following food safety guidelines. The role offers opportunities for growth and a supportive team culture.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs.
• Assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross‑training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
