Job summary

The GIANT Company is hiring for a deli-focused team member at our Rising Sun location. You will weigh and slice deli items, cook and assemble sandwiches, and serve customers in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include operating deli equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and following SOPs and safety guidelines to ensure quality and safety for all customers. This on-site role requires flexibility for 4-hour shifts and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodation.
• Must meet company standards for regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Review the shift schedule at start, check equipment, and prepare for duties.
• Prepare deli offerings: sandwiches, pizzas, and other items per plan‑ogram and SOP.
• Serve customers, weigh/label items, and merchandise for grab‑and‑go sections.
• Produce items for the sales floor warmers and hot bar as per SOP.
• Clean and sanitize work surfaces, tools, equipment, cases, floors and counters.
• Track and record loss using standard loss tracking procedures.
