Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a dedicated deli team member to prepare and serve fresh deli items, including sandwiches and hot foods. You will weigh, slice, label, and merchandise products, assist customers, and ensure clean, safe work areas in a fast-paced environment.

Shift work starts at minimum 4 hours; applicants must be able to handle lifting and work in a cold/warm environment while following SOPs and PPE guidelines. The role supports daily operations across multiple DI locations.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations to complete job duties satisfactorily.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deli foods by weighing, slicing, labeling, and merchandising.
• Make sandwiches, pizzas, and roasted items per plan.
• Greet customers and assist with orders.
• Maintain sanitation and clean work areas and equipment.
• Monitor inventory and record losses.
