Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring a Deli Host to deliver friendly customer service and maintain a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? We will teach you!

You will interact with customers, assist cashier teammates, and help keep the deli and fountain areas well-presented with fresh offerings throughout your shift. As part of our team, you’ll prepare deli items such as salads, sandwiches, wraps, and parfait cups following guides, and you may cross-train in other departments.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and addressing customer needs. Assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
