Job summary

Weis Markets is looking for a friendly associate to join our deli team in a fast-paced retail setting. You will greet customers, stock displays, and prepare or portion meats, cheeses, and ready-to-eat foods to orders with care and accuracy.

The position requires basic education (HS diploma or GED) and a willingness to learn. You will work with others to ensure clean, safe, and appealing displays, while following company safety policies and state laws on tobacco/alcohol where applicable.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED. No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Keep deli service areas stocked and appealing to meet customer demands.
• Greet customers and resolve questions or concerns in a polite, professional manner.
• Operate slicing equipment and prepare ready-to-eat foods to order.
• Follow safety policies when preparing food and handling equipment.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness to meet health and OSHA requirements.
• Assist with cash register operations and proper money handling.
