Meijer is a family company that serves people and communities. As a Food Clerk, you help create a fresh, welcoming store experience within our Fresh departments, delivering product knowledge and friendly service.

You will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service and merchandising. If you enjoy working with food, helping customers, and staying active in a fast-paced environment, this role could be a great fit.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and use store technology.
• Ability to follow food safety and quality procedures.
• Physically active; able to lift and stand for long periods.
• Retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.
• Attention to detail and ability to stay organized.

Responsabilités

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
