Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, efficient service and help customers with product knowledge and merchandising in our Fresh departments. You will be part of a fast-paced store team, contributing to a welcoming shopping experience.

You'll build positive connections with customers, stock and rotate displays, and use technology to complete tasks accurately while following safety standards. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
