Job summary

MMLSSOLUTIONS LLC is seeking a Deli Associate to deliver excellent customer service while preparing and serving a variety of deli products. You will ensure items are fresh, properly displayed, and meet quality standards, interacting with customers and providing product information and recommendations.

You will also maintain a clean, organized deli area in compliance with health and safety regulations, contributing to overall store satisfaction and deli success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and slicing.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and measuring portions.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and slice deli meats, cheeses, and other products according to customer specifications and company standards.
• Serve customers promptly and courteously, taking orders and answering questions about deli products and specials.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli work area, equipment, and utensils in compliance with health and safety guidelines.
• Stock and rotate deli products to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Assist with inventory management by receiving deliveries, checking product quality, and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
