Job summary

Coborn’s is hiring a Department Manager to lead the Deli Department at our location. You’ll drive department performance, maximizing sales and gross profits through effective use of staff and resources, while coaching the team to deliver remarkable guest service.

You will oversee ordering, receiving, merchandising, pricing, and freshness, plus recordkeeping, safety practices, and employee relations. This role offers strong growth in a stable, employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous retail/customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct ordering, receiving, merchandising, pricing and freshness.
• Maintain accurate recordkeeping, guest service, and labor controls.
• Lead workload, conduct performance evaluations, and accountability conversations.
• Ensure food safety and company safety practices are followed.
• Control inventory, shrink, and expenses to maximize gross profit.
